Summary: Lots to Talk About 2008-03-03
Comment: As a speech and language expert at Play on Words, I look for toys that can stimulate language: Give this lovable guy a push and he gladly rocks and rolls just out of reach so your baby chases after him, exploring and discovering his wobbly gait. Each nudge brings on one of 5 entertaining sounds to make your baby smile. The friendly face with bug eyes and dimples, two antennae just the right size for nibbling, a colorful neck to stretch, a handfull of colorful textured rings, butterflies and ladybugs to describe and beads moving to the action all qualify this as a great toy to encourage language development.
This Tiny Love Activity Ball has all the elements for stimulating language--lots to talk about concerning, color, texture, sounds and activity. Parents can describe the bright colors, patterns of stripes and polka dots, plenty of textures such as soft, hard, bumpy, and smooth and sounds that accompany movement whether rocking or yanking on his head and feet. Remember to follow your child's focus of attention and describe what she thinks is interesting, not you! If she is chewing on the antennae or playing peek-a-boo with the ladybug, that is what you want to be talking about. Research shows that children take in more language when we are talking about what they are interested in. Isn't that true of us adults too?

Summary: Love it! 2008-01-21
Comment: My daughter loves this toy now at 6 months and I can see it growing to be even more fun for her in the next few months since she hasn't even tried to pull the head out of the ball. It features a magnetic hand that she loves to pull away from the lady bug over and over. She also likes to play with the attached rattle and there is a crinkle flower she enjoys as well.

Summary: My daughter LOVED it! 2007-05-22
Comment: It just depends on the child and I guess the age. My baby liked to look at it/feel it when she was young, but it was when she got around to nine months and nearly walking, she enjoyed it more. Not a waste of money in my opinion.

Summary: Tiny Love Falls Flat with this Ball 2006-07-11
Comment: My twins love the Tiny Love mobile, so I thought this funky toy would be a good choice. They have NO interest in it whatsoever. There are not enough activities on the ball to interest them -- and the ones that are there are pretty boring. I agree with the other reviewers -- don't waste your money!

Summary: don't waste your money 2004-09-19
Comment: We bought this for our son when he was 6 mts old. He seemed to like it in the store, or maybe my husband really liked it, anyway he hardly ever plays with it. He is now 9 mts and still has no intrest in it. I wouldn't waste your money on it.
