Product Description
MagIQ DVD is a breakthrough in helping babies develop critical social, emotional and cognitive skills by enabling real-time interaction between a cuddly "Active Companion" and digital media. Your child can watch as this adorable puppy responds to on-screen action with an array of synchronized words, sounds and exclamations -- all while encouraging your baby to do the same. These specialized "Active Viewing" experiences help form a "MagIQ triangle" between your baby, the companion and the television. Your child will no longer stare passively at the screen -- instead she will look aside at her friend, pondering its reactions. This causes her to explore her own feelings and react proactively to the stimuli on the screen. Running time of DVD: 45 minutes.

Summary: Mommy's 30 minutes of peace 2008-04-16
Comment: My daughter got this at 6 months and didn't pay much attention to it at first, after about 2 months she fell in love with it. She is now 12 months and still loves it she will sit there and watch the entire 30 minute DVD with her Dog and thats saying alot my daughter likes to go, go, go.
Whenever I need a break or need to do something this is the first thing I go for.
Now that she's 12 months I called Tiny Love and they have a second DVD for 12 months and older that you can order, she has not yet watched it but if it's anything like the first one she will love it.
It's got catchy little tunes too, we all walk around singing "it's my tiny tickle dot"
Well worth the money!!

Summary: Very entertaining and great way to learn 2008-02-14
Comment: We got this toy as a gift. My twin girls are 13 months and they both love this toy. Bath time has always been tiring for me because they both like to play "catch me if you can" during dress up. Ever since I had this toy my girls will just stay put watching the show while I dress them up. The blue light doesn't bother them, they actually got curious that they always press it. They learn how to say hello and bye bye and they laughed during peek a boo time then they start playing peek a boo with us even without the toy. I highly recommend it.

Summary: great original toy 2008-01-25
Comment: My 5 month old daugther got this from her uncle for christmas and absolutely loves it. She seems to love it more and more each time we play it. We sit her on the floor next to the dog and in front of the TV. She watches the TV and laughs and hugs the dog each time it "talks". The music on the DVD is really cute too (not annoying). I agree with a few reviewers that the blue light is very bright. I put a small round piece of white duct tape over it and it still works fine. I had the same problem as others getting the toy to work at first until we turned up the TV volume. I think this is a great toy and your child should like it if they enjoy watching videos like mine.

Summary: Loves It! 2007-12-20
Comment: My daughter absolutely adores this toy. She barely pays attention to any other television show, but when she just sees the dog she gets excited. We often sing the songs from the show to calm her down or get her attention. I would highly recommend it to everybody. She got it from my sister, who has twin sons that also like it and I bought one for my husband's nephew and hope he loves it too! If only they made more videos than just a couple.

Summary: My Son's FAVORITE!!! 2007-08-03
Comment: My son absolutely LOVES the DVD MagIQ line. He received the dog for Christmas and it is the only dvd that he can sit through. We tried so many different shows, including Baby Einstein, Sesame Street, and some of the free shows that are on cable. He always lost interest within the first 5 minutes. But with this DVD MagIQ, he was able to sit through the 28 minute show, and sometimes we would even play it twice, and he still would sit and laugh through it. It is especially helpful when I am cooking dinner, and I need something to entertain him because I can't carry him or play with him. I just put him in his high chair, set the dog up and place it right next to him, and he's good to go for about half an hour. This product is definitely better than the Baby Einstein videos, because it is more interactive. It teaches and identifies what certain objects are, and what certain gestures mean (i.e. hello and bye bye). He also learned his waving for "Hello" and "Bye-Bye" through this video. We play peek-a-boo with him, so when it comes on in the video, he is laughing so hard, and absolutely nothing compares to hearing your child laugh!! The music is also catchy, so while he's watching, I'm singing along with the video as well. And my son dances to the songs. All in all, this video is absolutely fantastic. It is definitely a must-buy for parents!!
