Summary: My daughters favorite toy!!! 2008-08-30
Comment: This is my 10 month old's daughters favorite toy. She studies it very hard to figure how to put the shapes into the sorter. She had even started putting the shapes in without any help. She will play with this toy for a good 30 minutes before getting bored with it. That is a lot longer than any of her other toys. LOVE LOVE LOVE this toy!

Summary: High quality, great toy for different stages 2008-08-09
Comment: My son received this toy when he was about 6 months old. At first he enjoyed watching it roll by and all of the noise it makes. As he's gotten older (he's 13 months now), it's one of the few toys that he still gets enjoyment out of. He loves to sort the shapes, shake them (they are filled with varying amounts of plastic beads) and especially likes to take off the cover and twist it back on (both sides open up). The quality of Tolo toys is really excellent and I haven't bought one that hasn't been a hit!

Summary: Perfect for our 1 year old 2008-05-15
Comment: I just love this shape sorter...All the shapes have rattles, which my son just loves. He rolls it around with or without the shapes in it. I love that the shapes and holes have coordinating colors as well. Both ends twist on and off easily. Great toy, highly recommended.

Summary: Best Shape Sorter from birth on up. 2008-01-20
Comment: I have been working with children, including those with special needs for 10 years and this is the best shape-sorter I have ever seen. All 6 shapes are different colors and make noises (such as rattle), so infants love to hold and shake them. Each end of the toy unscrews to release the shapes, so parents (or siblings) need to help young toddlers. You can unscrew just one side and use it as a see-through bucket to put pieces in and take them out. It rolls on its side and makes great rattle noises that babies love. The rails on the side make it easy for little hands to grasp. You can even unscrew both ends and use it as a tunnel to look through. The opportunities are endless!

Summary: By the time he was 18 months, my little boy knew his colors! 2007-09-14
Comment: All from playing with this toy. He loved to hand the shapes to me and hear me name the colors, and he quickly was able to name them himself. He played with this toy until he was 3, and I am now buying another for his 9 month old brother, because he lost two of the shapes. He loved sorting, lining up the shapes, rolling it back and forth like a ball to me and his dad, etc. Great buy!
