Summary: If you have a low bed this is what you need. 2008-11-18
Comment: We have an Ikea bed. It's 17 inches tall (measured from floor to top of mattress). This was the only co-sleeper that would work for us, especially since we could not easily raise our cheapo bed up (it needs support in the center of the frame). This co-sleeper is generously sized (same size as a standard pack-n-play) and really helps with night-time breastfeeding, especially if you have a standard, queen-size bed. Two adults and one newborn will rapidly run out of real estate in a queen-sized bed. The Arms Reach acts as a convenient, side-car arrangement that will minimize getting up and down to fetch baby for feedings. This plus a basket with a waterproof mat and diapering supplies located bedside will mean you don't have to get up out of bed to see to baby's needs in the wee hours and that can mean more rest for everyone. This co-sleeper will likely have a second life as a portable play-yard once the baby is bigger and sleeping in a full-sized crib. Well-made, portable and a great design.
