Summary: Excellent lather and glide 2008-09-11
Comment: Truefitt & Hill Luxury shave soap lathers very easily, and produces enough thick lather for several passes. The lather provides an excellent glide without skips or drag. The lather will start to breakdown faster than a cream, but this is not uncommon for hard soaps. The glycerin based soap cake contains no alcohol or waxes, and will not dry out the skin. The very light lavender scent from the added lavender essential oil is mild and fast fading, with no extra fragrances added, making this suitable to be called an unscented product and a viable option for sensitive skin. The lather rinses clean, and leaves no residue. This shave soap is only for use with a quality shave brush.
