Comment: I bought this to use in a guest bedroom (I was the guest). The sheepskin cover for the crack is not wide enough to make it comfortable enough to sleep in the middle of the bed. The strap is a good idea though. It was better than trying to sleep on a twin mattress only.

Comment: The straps hold the mattresses well together, but the strip of sheep-like wool to fill the "in between space" for the two twin mattresses is not enough filling. BTW, these things cost $100 each at Sleep Cheap, where I almost bought them since the mattresses were purchased there. But I found them in a catalog for $60 thinking it was a "deal" until I received them...
