Delta Canton 4-in-1 Convertible Crib, Cherry

Comment: I ordered this crib in the Antique Black finish, and it is exactly what you'd expect it to be - it's DISTRESSED not SCRATCHED!! There is not so much distressing that it needs to be paired with vintage looking crib bedding or anything, it's just enough to look pretty. This crib is very sturdy and the finish seems really durable. The black DaVinci that I saw at Target could literally be gouged with a fingernail, so good luck once your baby is teething. The wood used in this crib is harder, so it is of course more durable.

My husband was able to put this together with the help of my 11-year old son in less than an hour, and he is not handy at all. Also good to know is that a standard crib mattress fits perfectly into it - no gaps. I had read another review of this crib somewhere that swore there was a giant gap around the whole thing, but we did not find that to be true at all. Another good thing to know is that it does come with the toddler bed rails, but not with the rails to use it as a headboard/footboard. There are three different mattress positions and we decided to start the baby on the middle one. The first hole is pretty high and you would need to lower it pretty quickly once the baby was a few months old.

Comment: I got this item when it was around $209 which is about $40 less than it usually goes for. That is the only reason I am not going to complain about the scratches. I read the reviews so I knew there was a chance that there would be scratches if I got the black crib...I did anyway. Otherwise, it looks great, it's sturdy and roomy. Overall, we love it. The company just needs to rethink the packaging.

Comment: I purchased this crib for my neice who was due 1 month after the crib arrived. her husband assembled the crib and all the parts were in the box and it was fairly easy to put together. The crib is beautiful and a standard mattress fits beautifully.

Comment: We love this crib. We had to purchase a new one due to the original one being recalled.
The shipping was quick, and the crib itself is really nice. I do need to stress that this is
"distressed", not solid black. We were able to fix the "distressing" on the edge of the bars by simply
using a black marker.

It was fairly easy to put together, and it's a nice, solid crib. Our son was comfortable in it from the get go.
It's not difficult to get him in and out of the crib with the new style front.

All in all, great crib for the price. Highly recommend.

Comment: This crib was delivered to me 3 times defected. It's very bad for business, I just had a newborn and I needed a crib. Imagine trying to get this 70 lbs package open and re-package and carry out outside 3 times. You guys should stop doing business with this company because it's costing you customers.
