Summary: Top quality 2008-08-17
Comment: We have purchased several sets of speaker stands over the last few years for our growing church. Most of them cost over $70's - for just one stand!
The Fender ST-275's were every bit as good a quality and you get the pair for around $70 with a gig bag to carry them.
I'm sold.

Summary: Lightweight but strong speaker stands. 2008-08-04
Comment: For the price, this is a really a great set of speaker stands. It includes a nice carrying/storage case and can support quite a bit of weight. It works best for small to medium sized speakers, though. These stands are great for temporary installs since they are so light and fold up to a fairly small size. I tested these with some speakers that weighed over 100 pounds each on these stands and they worked, although I was worried the plastic part would break so I removed them.
For the small fender passport speakers, these are perfect.

Summary: Fender ST-275 Stands 2008-06-05
Comment: Better than I expected. I was able to place my speakers a few feet above my privacy fence and play my music to the neighbors. They come down and pack up quick. I got them down and away before the police arrived to tell me to turn down the music.

Summary: Strong and Lightweight 2008-04-30
Comment: Well, others have mentioned these qualities, but they can't be understated. Not only are these things super-light, but they are strong! The bag up nicely, and I even store extra stuff in the bag. Not to mention, the sound of my Passport 250 is much more dynamic when seated upon these things than when the speakers were sitting on the ground.

Summary: Actually, it is funny you should ask... 2008-01-18
Comment: So I bought these speakers for my husband for Christmas. I wasn't sure if they would fit his pa system but they did. The poles weren't as tight a fit as I would have liked into the bottom of the speakers but they are well made and look really nice. We recenty bought a house and were moving last week. My husband put the stands, enclosed in the nice storage bag into the back of the truck with some other items. On the way to the new house, the speaker stand blew out of the back of the truck and were run over by a passing vehicle. The really wild thing is that they are still in really good shape with just one little tiny bent spot, the knobs are broken and have to be replaced and the bag is a little worse for wear now but can still be used. All in all they are okay and I am sure he will still enjoy using them for a long time...once I replace the knobs of course. I would recommend these speaker stands on durability alone!!
