The Hills of Provence Cedar Chest is superbly crafted with carved details and painted antique white. This remarkable chest features carvings of gathered wheat and acanthus leaves on the front panel and legs. The top is scalloped for an old-fashioned look. The outside veneer is made of Asian hardwood, while the legs are solid wood. The interior of this chest is fully lined with Eastern Red Cedar veneer and has an airtight aluminum sealing strip to preserve personal treasures. A self-rising, divided storage tray with acid-free beige lining comes up when the top is opened.
