Summary: Nice piece of furniture 2007-04-25
Comment: I really like this armoire. It's a good design with nice proportions, made of quality materials, is solid wood (but isn't terribly heavy), and looks beautiful in a small living room setting. So many tv armoires are GIGANTIC and out of proportion to many living rooms in older homes, but this one fits perfectly in my 1920s craftsman-style bungalow.
Yes, it comes unassebled, but can you imagine the shipping costs of it didn't?! Took about twice as long to asseble as the directions said it would, but the end product is well worth it.

Comment: Before you purchase an item from this seller, read the small print carefully. Not only will you have to assemble this yourself, but the real cost is FAR greater than $399. Cost Breakdown: Factory cost $349 + Handling $50 + Import fees $70 + UPS $70 + Insurance $10 = Total $549, including delivery to 48 US contiguous States. Shipped in 2 boxes. Assembly required. Rated 1 star due to this seller's misleading ads.
