Customer Rating: Summary: Easy to Build Workbench 2008-07-26 Comment: This is a pretty basic easy to build workbench. It is a little pricey considering there are only 4 plastic bench legs, 8 pieces of a separate shelf, and all the needed wood screws. I guess the cost is based on how much it simplifies the construction of a workbench.
For mine, the 2x4's and plywood cost around $80. Let it be known that I am not much of a builder. With 2 people with one to hold the boards and one with a drill to screw in the nails it is fairly easy. The instructions are simple and short. It is pretty much look at the diagram and screw in the screws. I made a mistake of not subtracting the width of the 2x4 from the length of the joining 2x4's (Y-2W). I corrected it by cutting the width of the table 2x4's. But if I can build it so can you.
So the finish project is complete and good to do projects on. Just don't expect it to look as pretty as other more expensive benches. For my use I am not going to spend a lot to mess up a perfect bench while this bench fits my needs perfectly.

Customer Rating: Summary: Fantastic Workbench 2006-02-23 Comment: I was very pleased with my 2x4 Basics AnySize workbench kit. The instructions were very easy to follow and I built an 8' x 3' workbench with a 5' pegboard and shelves. I even had to order an additional set of shelflinks.
