Summary: Good but... 2007-07-18
Comment: I love the fountain. It looks great, fits my deck and babbles soothingly. Unbeatable Sales was fast and the fountain was delivered quickly and in good shape. That being said the buyer should know there were assembly issues. The tubes leading from the electric pump to the decorative spout were preassembled but were too long. Not wanting to cut them and compromise the seals we ended up carefully turning and twisting so the tubing would not kink. Due to the excess length, we were unable to stand the pump upright on it's suction cups so we laid it carfully so the inflow was facing down. The directions are very difficult to comprehend, all diagrams with random arrows. It doesn't seem like the tubes should have been preassembled so I don't know if that was a mistake or the directions are just wrong. The most difficult part was attaching the tubing to the spout. The tube was a good 1/4 inch too big. There was no way to get an airtight seal, we finally wrapped the base of the spout with a rubber band, looped some teflon tape over that and pushed the tubing on. Once placed we still had to be careful the tubing wouldn't kink but so far it's working well. I'm sure we'll have to replace the rubber band as it ages. So looks earn a 5 assembly a 1 which averages to a 3.
