Summary: Briggs & Stratton 2,550 PSI Washer 2007-10-03
Comment: The washer arrived in the time frame I was given. I was a bit concerned as there was some damage to the box. I put it together, very simple, filled it with oil and gas and went to work. Note... no mention of reading directions... real men don't need them! All I can say is it runs and cleans til it runs out of fuel. I took a break to let it cool before I added fuel... Safety First! An adult beverage, then back at it. I cleaned my concrete back steps, patio, wood furniture, some of the house where it needs painting, stone and wood walkway, wrought iron and wood table...you get the picture. I use three tanks of gas, the "General" tip and would have found more to play with but it was getting dark and we had a dinner engagement to attend so I had to put it away. Pleased?... very! Highly recommend. Easy to use, really about perfect for an average home owner. I suggest Eye and Hearing Protection and rubber boots if the weather is cool. Not much of that in South Texas. We have had a very wet summer so lots of stuff growing on the concrete and walkway, and to my knowlege none of the concrete has ever been pressure washed. It looks better than new. And no longer slick when wet! When I catch up with a few things I'll be back after it and clean some other green things around here.
Thanks again,
Patty

Summary: Great Product 2007-08-01
Comment: This pressure washer is great. I cleaned my lawn furniture, that hasn't been clean since we bought it years ago. Look like brand new. We also cleaned down our deck in preparation for staining. I am looking for more things to clean now.
I want to comment on another review of this product that has provided some false information. Regardless of engine name, it works and its got a quality briggs and Stratton motor. I did not feel the need to exert heavy downward pressure on the handle. I easily moved this on a gravel surface, and I am female. Being this is my first ever pressure washer I asked my husband about the unit being on the bottom and he has never seen one where the unit is not. We tied of the detergent line with a zip tie and its there to stay. No big deal. For the price, we put the detergent in the bucket and the length of the hose is enough I really did not move the unit.
No issues with the spray wand or the rack for the hoses. The wand is made to come about in three pieces for travel and storage. No issues moving it with the wand fully in one piece. We received 3 different size fittings that have their own storage slot on the unit's rack. Ran the unit all weekend. No issues with oil or overheating. Just add more gas n go. Packaging was great and my husband had it assembled within an hour. GREAT MACHINE!

Summary: Huge Disappointment-Not As Advertised 2005-04-23
Comment: This pressure washer is an example of very poor design and marketing. The unit is advertised as being equipt with a "6.5 H.P. Briggs&Stratton Elite Series Overhead Valve Engine". It is not. What you get is a 6.5 H.P. B & S "Quantum" series, conventional, side valve, vertical shaft, lawn mower engine. NOT an Overhead Valve engine. According to B&S tech support, they do not make an "Elite series" engine. The term "Elite Series" refers only to the line of pressure washers.
The design is not user friendly. The machine is poorly balanced so that to move it you must exert heavy downward pressure on the handle, while trying to push or pull the unit. The tiny pump is located on under the deck of the unit. This makes connections very difficult and service of the pump a nightmare. The "detergent system" consists of a two foot long vinyl tube connected to the bottom of the pump and dragging on the ground. There is no provision to support any type of detergent container on the frame. The spray wand is plastic and flimsy. One of the worst "features" is the plastic rack where you store the wand and attachments. When inserted in the rack, the wand scrapes along the ground as you move the machine, also, the rack is incapable of "storing" the very cheap/flimsy pressure hose. Unlike most other washers of this type that I've seen, no quick connect fittings are provided. The engine would not restart after it was hot ( as little as 20 minutes use). The packaging of the machine was very poor. There were at least six different places on the frame where the paint had been worn off from rubbing on the corrugated cardboard packing material and shipping box.
