Summary: If you like spilled fuel, buy this! 2008-11-26
Comment: I've tried using this this more than once to refill my mower and have had to wash the spilled fuel off the mower and my hands. It may be OK to fill up an automobile or other equipment with large fuel tanks but it's not worth a flip for filling small yard equipment.

Summary: Briggs CARB compliant gas can 2008-11-04
Comment: I didn't like this gas can at all. The spout was difficult to use and, unless I missed something, you can't store it inside the can like the non CARB compliant cans. So the combination spout/cap stuck up so far it wouldn't fit in the trunk of my car standing up. I returned it to Amazon without a problem and bought the old-fashioned non CARB compliant version which I'm very happy with.

Summary: Briggs auto shut off gas can 2008-08-24
Comment: I had moderate expectations of this can, having had problems filling my tractor gas tank for several years, but this met all my expectations. After reading the instruction label on the can, and getting the nozzle set up, I put a gallon into my tractor and did not spill a drop! The auto shut off worked perfectly. I am glad I bought this brand instead of some of the others that I have seen complaints about. Good job Briggs.
