Summary: Use on cold grill 2008-06-19
Comment: My previous experience with the Brush Hawg XL was with an item purchased at Sears and I was very impressed with the ease of use, best brush ever for me.
Sears quit handling the brush so I found the item on Amazon and ordered.
My problem with the item now is a warning not to use on a hot grill because the brush may breakdown and be toxic but no real explanation as to what was happening.I did not see the same warning on my initial order from Sears so i don't know if the product changed or the warning was just added? i still use my old brush at the pit in the country and haven't seen a problem but I will inspect it more closely before my
next use.
I use the brush on large pits and the size really makes the job easier, so I will continue to use the brush just be more aware.
Also, I can't seem to find the replacement bristles that are mentioned in the instructions and ad anywhere.
