Summary: beautiful sound, beautifully packaged 2003-03-20
Comment: This windchime was so beautifully and carefully packaged, wrapped in paper and enclosed in a heavy outer wrap with label and tag.
The sound of this windchime is incredible, beautiful, I just love it. It looks pretty hanging under my tree in the garden. Even the wood on the top of the windchime is rustic. Every leaf was wrapped in foam in the package, it was so protected. It would make a marvelous gift, -- in presentation, packaging, appearance and sound. I highy recommend it. Probably everything Caramba makes will be like this. It is from Peru, a plus,--- makes it more interesting!

Comment: I bought this for my sister for Christmas. It is beautiful, but don't hang it outside. She put hers outside and it is now in hundreds of pieces.

Summary: Evoking the Wilderness 2000-08-26
Comment: Skyscrapers in the background; intermittent sounds of emergency sirens and auto alarms; dry and dusty sparse vegetation surrounding the buildings of my apartment complex. A typical scenerio of city living. Oh, but how I miss the wilderness of tall leafy trees which I have had the pleasure to visit not only here in Texas but throughout America. So, how can I evoke a sense of these wonders here in my small city apartment? The Caramba Red Oak Windchimes with red oak suspending a generous array of ceramic leaves of earthy hues have done this for me. Their crystal clear soft melody as the warm breeze flows through the leaves soothe my stressed mind as I sit on my patio. With a little imagination and some help with the right incense nature comes back to me for a brief time until I can seek out the real experience once again.
