Summary: the good and the bad 2005-11-10
Comment: I have purchased 2 sets of these chimes and they're absolutely beautiful; however, consistent with several reviews, they are fragile and, potentially, may arrive damaged. My first set arrived with a singular, small leaf broken; I kept the set and planned on simply gluing the affected leaf (epoxy works best). My second set of chimes arrived with several large leaves broken; I promptly sent such back to Amazon and, equally promptly, received a replacement set back with no damage whatsoever.

Comment: I ordered this windchime as a gift for a client of mine. While I never actually saw the windchimes, my client has told me numerous times how much she loves them. She said they are beautifully made and look wonderful hanging on her porch.

Summary: Stunning! 2002-09-24
Comment: This is one of the most beautiful looking set of wind chimes I've seen. It looks far more fragile than it is, but I still wouldn't put it in too windy of an area.But what it has in beauty, it lacks in tone. It sounds rather clanky -- not soothing at all. And that's another good reason not to put it someplace that's too windy! It really looks lovely in the small courtyard at my front door. I have it hung fairly close to the door at the back of the courtyard. I have better sounding, but not as lovely, wind chimes at the front where the wind goes by.

Comment: I am so happy with this chimes. The sound of them is so nice on a breezy day and the design is very unique, a must for any patio or porch.

Summary: questionable durability 2002-05-16
Comment: beautifully crafted. didn't have a chance to hang them outside because they arrived broken. if they couldn't withstand the shipping they certainly wouldn't withstand a strong wind.
