Summary: Be careful, Char-Broil has engineered an expensive problem into this... 2006-09-05
Comment: Your new Char-Broil grill will have a gas feed (with the required regulator) that does not detach from the burner assembly. Char-Broil used to make it easy to swap out a malfunctioning overpressure regulator -- by unscrewing the old feed and putting in a new one that costs less than $20. Their new design means that you'll need to buy the whole new burner assembly -- at more than $100 -- just to fix something that the other grill manufactures allow you to replace yourself. It's as if they designed a car so that an entire axle would have to be replaced if a tire went flat. You'd prefer a car with tires that detach and can be replaced, right? Same with a grill and grill parts. Forget Char-Broil. I learned an expensive lesson with them. You'll find a lot of other new Char-Broil users on the Web making the same complaint. Until Char-Broil goes back to making grills the way they used to.... you're better off with another brand.

Summary: IT REALLY DOES a great job 2005-03-16
Comment: we have had this grill for a bout 2 weeks it really cooks well with almost no flare up, this a real winner. THIS IS OUR 1ST CHARBOIL GRILL, THE OTHER ONE WE HAD, YOU REALLY HAD TO BABY SET IT SO YOU WOULDN'T BURN UP YOUR FOOD BECAUSE OF FLARE/UPS IF I EVER HAVE TOO REPLACE THIS GRILL I'LL HAVE TO GET ME ANOTHER CHAR.BROIL PERFORMANCE SERIES ,,,,, WAY TO GO CHAR-BROIL ,,,,,,,,BEST GRILL ON THE MARKET
