CocoTek Mats - An Organic Growing Medium
CocoTek Grow mats are made from a strong weave containing 100% organic coconut fiber and natural rubber. Roots will thrive in this natural media. These mats can easily cut to fit any size application. They are designed to lay underneath baskets, slabs and cubes. Roots will grow under mats where moisture remains in a hydroponic tray between flood cycles protecting them from drying out.
Hydroponic Wheatgrass Application
Some people who live in apartments don't want to be bothered about bringing soil into their houses and using it as a growing medium. We have added coco mats as an alternative to those who wish to grow using the hydroponics method. They are completely natural and bio-degradable -- made of a combination of coconut fiber and natural organic rubber latex. The grass is grown exactly the same way, using the coco mat instead of soil. Coco mats are very light weight and inexpensive to ship.
