Product Description
The Seed Saver Feeder Can accomodate any seed, bread crumbs or fruit. The dome acts as a weather shield and can also be lowered to exclude large birds. The base is threaded for mounting to the Garden Pole or the feeder can be hung from the solid brass center rod. 7 diameter dish will hold 3 cups of seed.

The Seed Saver birdfeeder from Droll Yankees uses an adjustable umbrella-like dome to keeps big birds from looting the seed and fruit intended for smaller ones. The dome has the added benefit of protecting small birds from the weather while they feed. Held securely in place wherever you put it by an adjustable collar and set screw combination, the dome can be tailored to accommodate your favorite feathered population. Comment: THE FEEDER NEEDS A LARGER DOME TO KEEP SQUIRRELS FROM GETTING TO THE SEEDS. OTHERWSE I LIKE THE TRAY CONCEPT.

Comment: I have had a Droll Yankee X-1 Seed Saver feeder for five years. It can be filled with any feed, and it's style is suitable for attracting a variety of birds. It is easy to clean, and what impressed me most was it's durabilty. In several high wind storms it was blown off of its shepherd hook, falling ten feet to the ground and not cracking.I would recommend this feeder to all birding enthusiasts.
