Summary: I just purchased my second pop up greenhouse after loving my first one so much! 2008-06-19
Comment: I live in Jacksonville, FL so I was a bit hesitant in having a greenhouse that might fry my veggies, but so far so good with 80-90 degree days. The tomatoes & peppers inside the greenhouse are doing much better than the plants outside! There is a learning curve, but I'm enjoying every minute!
OH ... I noticed the comment that someone's screen ripped. Mine has belts midway up horizontally [that might be new], so I made sure that these are tight enough to take any strain off the screens and I also make sure that I fasten them anytime I zip up the screens.

Summary: Great little greenhouse 2008-04-20
Comment: I set my 6 ft square Flowerhouse a little over 2 weeks ago and just love it! I have room inside for a couple of shelving units, a little potting table and a small heater. I had a little trouble setting it up, it took about 20 min. but next time will be faster. If I had never set up a shock-corded tent, it would have taken even longer. But I would not let set-up stop anyone from buying, it's not so difficult you won't eventually get it done! I plan to use it in the fall to put in my garden and extend my tomatoes.

Summary: Great little greenhouse 2008-03-10
Comment: I purchased this greenhouse 2 years ago from Amazon.com. I love it. First year, I used it only in Spring for early starting of seedlings. It was great! Then in fall 2006, I set it up again and left it all winter with a small heater and a couple of 33 gallong garbage cans filled with water (for passive solar heating) and heated seedling mats. I grew some lettuce but not much more because even just keeping it slightly above freezing, my electric bill was $50 a month higher than normal. (New Jersey has high electric rates)
I just set it up today for my spring seedlings. I'll use the heater again because nights are still cold. It sets up quickly and easily and with the tie-downs never has problems with wind. I'd buy it again--althugh maybe a slightly larger model next time. I recommend it all the time.

Summary: Don't believe the easy setup instructions 2007-11-17
Comment: The instructions and information on-line lead you to believe this is an easy setup and the unit just "springs" open -- NOT! It requires 7 interior rods inserted (supplied)into pockets built-in the unit and it is helpful to have 2 people. Once assembled, it will be ok as long as not subject to much wind. My intent is to use it occasionally for freezing temps overnight (with a heater) and it is probably sufficient for that purpose.

Summary: The screen ripped after one year 2007-09-15
Comment: I will see if I can update this if necessary, but after loving this greenhouse, this year, the screen ripped in a vertical line next to the zipper. We have it set up correctly, etc etc and it is actually in a fenced-off area, and protected from wind (but we still have the tie-downs done, etc). It just seems that the screen is poor quality and the tension too high for it. I wrote to customer service but have not heard anything. However, the warranty does specify that I have to call a long-distance number, so I'll do that and see how it goes. Otherwise, have been very happy with this, it is what it says.
