Amazon.com Review
Give yourself and your guests a luxuriant vantage point from which to admire all that hard work you've put into your lawn and garden. This superbly structured chaise longue is crafted from solid teak, a wood renowned for its beauty and durability outdoors. The chaise's backrest can be adjusted to one of four settings, so you can enjoy the view from fully upright, completely horizontal, or somewhere in between. When in the flat position, the chaise easily functions as a low bench for parties and backyard gatherings. In addition, it comes with a teak and brass side tray that can be mounted on either the right or left, depending on which hand you want you use to grab your lemonade. Environmentally conscious gardeners will be happy to know that Gardenside uses teak from sustainable-yield plantations, letting you recline with a clear conscience. The chaise is shipped partially assembled, and it takes about 20 minutes to put it together. The Gardenside chaise comes with a three-year warranty. --Ariel Meadow Stallings

Summary: Great design, great woodworking, cheap hardware and details 2002-05-27
Comment: This chaise lounge had just the design we wanted, and was at a price point below the most expensive teak lounges, but was more upscale than cheaper ones or ones using different woods. We also bought a round teak table to go with it. The woodworking and carpentry were excellent, however the hardware was cheap, the bolts were stripped and the holes that were drilled in the wood to attach the different parts of the lounge together did not match up. In fact, they weren't just a little off, my husband had to "re-drill" holes that were over 1/4 inch off - one was 3/8 inches off.We called the company to complain, and they are shipping us new hardware....
