Comment: I bought this based on above reviews and it was lovely...for about 3 weeks! Then 2 of the wooden chimes started to turn a dirty, streaky black color. So now it's not so lovely! Very disappointing!

Comment: I have to admit that I was a little skeptical because the price was so low. I was concerned that the chime would look tacky. I was very pleasantly surprised. Not only is the chime attractive (I've received several compliments) the peaceful sound of the bamboo is lovely. Highly recommended.

Comment: I took a chance on this based on the other reviewer. Glad I did and I agree. I gave 5 stars just for the value on this. I mean $15. But the sound is a soothing low tonal natural bamboo sound. Very pleasant, not the metallic tinkly sounds you get from most tubular chimes. Thinking about buying a second one. Would like to see more like this offered on Amazon. Yes, it makes a great gift item also.

Comment: I was skeptical on the quality I would receive when I purchased this windchime. But it is worth much more than $14.99. It is large, sounds beautiful and the top and bottom are made of a beautiful stoneware. I bought one as a thank you gift, my roomate ended up purchasing one and now I just ordered one more for mothers day. Mom wouldn't stop raving over it. Buy it, you will not be dissappointed by the quality but even more the sound. Bamboo is muted sounding compared to the "chingyness" of metal chimes- very peaceful, even in strong winds.
