Amazon.com Review
With vast water coverage of up to 13,500 square feet, and the eerie ability to travel on its own, the John Deere Traveling Sprinkler is perfect for watering odd-shape yards. This magic hydro-propelled sprinkler follows a pattern laid out by the hose for custom watering of round or oblong yards. The sprinkler features arms and tips that adjust to emit a circular spray pattern 15 to 55 feet in diameter, perfect for watering flush with the fence or flowerbed, but not over. The sprinkler is constructed with a die cast zinc body for optimal durability and years of reliable irrigation. Cast iron back wheels and polyurethane front wheels let this 2-speed traveler follow hose for up to 200 feet before the sprinkler's shut-off ramp automatically stops the tractor and shuts off the water. --Brian Olson Product Description

Summary: Tractor looking 2008-10-03
Comment: Lots of water but moves too slow even in high. Not bad, but not as good as a real DEERE.

Summary: John Deere Sprinkler Review 2008-09-02
Comment: My husband was very pleased with the John Deere Sprinkler tractor. It is easy to use and covers a large area of lawn with the sprinkler. It is also attractive to look at, unlike some of the other competitors models.

Summary: Quite Satisfied 2008-09-01
Comment: I ordered this sprinkler for my husband, and he's been THRILLED with it. It's easy to operate, and it throws the water quite far which means less repositioning. He highly recommends it!

Summary: Traveling Sprinkler 2008-08-03
Comment: I found this exact model in red from a local store. Paid a lot less for it. Ive used it a dozen or so times this season and it works as advertised.
I guess if I were to complain about something it is dang heavy to drag around the yard.

Summary: Fun Tractor does quite a job! 2008-06-26
Comment: I saw one of these at an ag party in Bakersfield.
The tractor is heavy to move around, but I guess that makes it less likley to be stolen! You have to have an established lawn, cause it has to pull the hose along behind itself, and cam get stuck in the mud.the automatic shutoff goes on top of the hose,at the end of travel.
It's absolutely best for large areas and can be adjusted to water a strip 6' to 55'! if you have a smaller yard it also has a "still position" but the most fun is to see it travel along. It has 2 forward speeds but they are so slow that it does not seem to scare the animals.
