Summary: Your ant problem will be GONE!! 2008-07-25
Comment: We've been battling ants for two years. I've fought ants all the way into November, and then starting again in February. They were so bad this year that I swear if you pulled the siding off of our house, it would have been black and writing with ants.
I used boric acid, Raid, ant traps, even an exterminator ... Just about the time I'd think I had them licked, we'd be inundated again.
For example, I was doing laundry. I'd just thrown the last load in - a load of throw rugs. Not an ant in sight. When I came back downstairs less than an hour later, I discovered a black line going to and a black line going from a small piece of dog food that must have fallen off one of the throw rugs.
I'd come home and see a stream of them climbing up the side of the house and underneath the siding.
My son was visiting one day and I was telling him about my battle. He mentioned Grant's Ants. I thought, "Why not!? I've tried everything else!"
I bought three 10-packs. We placed stakes around the entire perimeter of the house. My daughter would go outside and check on them every day or so and replace the ones that were empty. The ants streamed in to take the bait.
Withing a week ... a WEEK! ... there was only the occasional ant coming into the house. Within two weeks, we weren't seeing any inside the house anymore. Within three weeks, we didn't see them outside anymore.
We'll be keeping fresh stakes around our house all summer long. Grant's Ants is nothing short of miraculous!!

Summary: The Best 2008-04-09
Comment: After trying expensive Raid traps and a number of other home-remedies (e.g. grits) Grant's is the first thing that worked. Ants love this stuff, but their love affair is cut short, because then they DIE ;) Someone on epinions mentioned that this is like crack for ants. If you are frustrated with ants ignoring other baits, give Grant's a try.
