Summary: Perfect for me. 2008-08-27
Comment: I did a lot of research on pressure washers and ended up buying a briggs and stratton 2500 PSI gas powered model for $250 at a local hardware store. After one use I realized this was way more then I needed. They were gracious enought to let me return it, and I decided on this electric model instead. I originally bought it to help prepare my house for paint, at which it did an admirable job. The unit is very straightforward and easy to operate. I was surprised to find the hose is permanently attached to the gun, but it was not that a big a deal for me. Unlike with gas models, there is no siphon tube for using additives. Instead the unit comes with a jar and nozzel that attaches to the gun itself. At first I thought this would be irritating but I soon realized the benefits of not having to lug the power washer AND a bucket of detergent around at the same time. I used the jar with some deck brightener and it seemed to dillute it perfectly as I applied it. I was a little worried that the deck brightener was too thick (it is something like a gel) but the unit had no trouble drawing it out of the jar.
The cord has a GCFI built in (like hair dryers), which was nice considering the operating environment. The onboard storage is really handy. What I really like is how neatly it stores. The power cord wraps up on the back like a vacuume cleaner, and the hose hangs well off the gun when it is stored in its onboard "holster". Really good design. No regrets on this one!

Comment: I have had this washer for only one month but so far so good.
I couldn't be happier with it!
Easy to hook up and use, very powerful (1800psi will take the paint of the house if you get too close)
Our water pressure to the house is weak but that hasn't adversely affected the ability of this device to perform.
I got lucky picking this one to purchase.
Highly recommended.

Comment: This is a great washer, a bit on the heavy side being a woman, but was very easy to get it started, to use and did a great job on my deck and siding....can't wait to use it again. Would definitely recommend!
