Product Description
This handy little device is perfect for every room in the house or at the office. It's a digital clock and thermometer in one! The internal sensor monitors indoor room temperature and displays F or C readings. You can even read the outdoor temperature by placing the included 10 foot wire under a closed window. The oversized LCD display can be easily seen from across the room. Amazon.com Review
This tiny indoor/outdoor thermometer can be posted anywhere without being conspicuous but has a large display, making it easy to read from a distance. Measuring 3-1/4 by 2-1/4 inches, the thermometer mounts via two adhesive pads to a wall or window and uses an internal sensor to detect indoor temperatures. A sensor probe on a 12-foot wire connects to the thermometer and can run out from under a closed window to give accurate outdoor temperature readings as well. Temperatures are displayed in either Fahrenheit or Celsius and measure ranges from 32 to 122 degrees F (0 to 50 degrees C) indoors and -58 to 158 degrees F (-50 to 70 degrees C) outdoors. The unit also operates as a digital clock and alternates between showing the current temperature and time on its screen. In addition to its wall mount, the thermo-clock has a built-in stand for resting on a windowsill or desktop. This digital thermometer runs on one AAA battery (included) and is covered by a 90-day warranty. --Cristina Vaamonde

Summary: All I wanted 2008-06-17
Comment: I choose this item because it was inexpensive and yet would give me everything I wanted, ie, outside temperature and time. It was all automatic. No gimmicks, no hassle. It is everything I need.

Summary: Cheap, works, but annoying. 2008-02-15
Comment: It does its job for its low cost, however, it has two problems. The display alternates between the time and the temperature, which is annoying and useless. We all have enough clocks and watches to not need another one. This would be fine if you could flip a switch and turn off the clock, but you can't. The second problem is that you have to slide a switch to change the indoor/outdoor temperature display. It would make more sense to either have both displayed at the same time, or to alternate between indoor and outdoor temperatures instead of time. It's not such a big deal considering the price, but an analog thermometer is much less annoying. For those who care, the outdoor probe was reading temperatures at +130F, I didn't test its limits, but it did that much.

Summary: Works great for the price 2008-01-15
Comment: I think this works great for the price. I do have a feeling the temperature may be off by a few degrees (colder than it really is) but have never tested it. We hang the cord outside the window and use the Velcro to hang the unit on the wall. It alternates between time and the temperature, sometimes I wish it would alternate faster. Also there's a slight delay when you switch from indoor to outdoor temperature. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this product.

Summary: OR. sci. i/o Thermometer 2006-05-29
Comment: Works great; I checked the accuracy at +/- 2 degrees. Pretty good for 10 bucks. I use it in my Japanese soaking tub to set the temp and it is accurate

Summary: Won't do 2005-10-10
Comment: The thermometer looks good and is easy to use. Unfortunately the temperature it gave was so inaccurate (more than two degrees off) that I had to return the product.
