Summary: Excellent Saw, but it's heavy on the end of that pole. 2008-10-13
Comment: The saw works like a dream but you will get tired fairly quickly due to the weight at the end of the pole. You will get tired even quicker if you have to reach up to the full extent of your reach. It cuts well and quickly. I would buy it again knowing what I do now.

Summary: Nice attachment that gets the job done! 2008-08-08
Comment: I got this trimmer attachment from Amazon and it has lived up to my expectations as the description states. It does require a fair amount of energy to operate as it can strain you if you are not in good physical shape. The unit really does help a person by not having to use a ladder to prune or trim branches! At first I wasn't impressed because I had a hard time trimming a broken branch from a storm..it didn't seem to cut very well unless I rev-ed the Poulan real high then cut down on the branch. I later found out all I needed was to adjust the carb settings a bit which isn't stated in the user manual for the Poulan trimmer. I bought a star type socket screwdriver from Ebay for the carb that fits alot of different type trimmers, chainsaws, etc. That helped alot! Just make sure your trimmer is adjusted and tuned well and you will like this item as much as I do!

Summary: Great attachment, but you could get more for your money. 2006-08-25
Comment: This pole saw cuts like a champ! No complaints, but it is listed here for over $140. Buy the Poulan 810EPT Electric Pole Pruner instead from Amazon and you get the pole saw attachment AND an electric power head that has great power. I'm using that setup and have had no problems. Save some money!
