Summary: Decent product, but a few issues 2008-10-08
Comment: I bought these lights for my pond to replace the "egg lights" that I had purchased about two years ago from my local pond supply shop. These lights are a much better design than the egg lights. I had to replace the bulbs in my egg lights about once every two months. As the bulbs would heat up, the lenses would pop out of the housing submerging the bulbs and contacts in water, which would short out the bulbs. This caused the transformer to fry three times in the two years I owned these lights, which had to be replaced each time. These lights are sealed and I have yet to find a drop of water inside the actual bulb housing. The only downsides to these lights are that the length of cord between the lights is way too short. It is around two feet. So you can't separate the lights very much. Also, included with this set are colored lenses. Well, they only give you one of each color, not a full set of each. On top of that, none of the colored lenses change the actual light output at all. They are completely worthless and do nothing except provide a place for algae to collect blocking the light.

Summary: Great lights for the price! 2008-02-08
Comment: These are terrific pond lights for the price. I've used another brand that were more expensive and shorted out. The only complaint I have with these is that the connective cords between the three units are short. I'd like them to be twice the length for easier random placement.
