Summary: beautiful 2008-11-16
Comment: I purchased these seeds last spring. It took awhile for the vines to flower, but once they did boy were they spectacular! If you container plant these seeds, be sure not to let the soil dry out. I have so many seed pods from these 3 vines its crazy! SO many flowers! Also, the color was nothing like in the posted photograph, but were more of a very vibrant amethyst purple with a crimson veining. Not burgandy-ish at all, but very beautiful regardless.

Summary: A nice addittion to the yard. 2008-10-31
Comment: I planted these late spring so they didn't have as long a growing season as the rest of my morning glories. I planted them a good distance from my other varieties but still got a mixed bunch. Some of the flowers were a medium purple, but over half were a deep rich purple that was very nice to see.

Summary: great seeds, but not "black" 2008-08-22
Comment: These seeded really easily, but the photo shows a deep dark maroon flower, and my flowers were more of a deep purple. Otherwise, fantastic and easy to grow.
