This reconditioned Sistema consumer electric pressure washer is a powerful cold-water, high-pressure cleaner that provides pressure regulation from 450 PSI to a maximum of 1,650 PSI. This product has been brought up to original manufacturer specification, runs cleanly, and has only minor cosmetic imperfections. This pressure washer is ideal for cleaning wood decks, outdoor furniture, driveways, house siding, cars, motorcycles, tractors and boats. This machine provides continuous action with a 120/60 V/HZ asynchronous motor (no brush), and features thermal protection and a restart system (RS) to extend the life of the pump and motor. The durable all-aluminum pump head is designed with 3 special stainless steel pistons and a by-pass valve. The 35-foot power cord gives you increased maneuverability and comes with GFCI protection for added safety. This pressure washer comes with a complete 23-foot gun and hose assembly for high-pressure cleaning, a foaming nozzle with detergent tank for convenient soap spraying, and 2 versatile 29-1/2-inch lances -- 1 Vortex turbo nozzle for heavy-duty cleaning and 1 adjustable nozzle for a wide range of washing applications. The washer also comes with a soft bristle fixed brush for chemical rinsing and surface dirt removal ideal for car and patio furniture surface cleaning. The machine is designed with a handle and trolley for easy transport, and the gun and hose system has a child safety lock for increased protection. A garden joint and quick connector are included. Summary: seems like junk 2006-10-07
Comment: I bought this to clean my deck but when I turned it on it just hummed a little bit then kicked off. I tripped my circuit breaker so I reset it and it continued to do the same thing on different circuits. I called tech support and the guy was a bit rude but somewhat helpful. He said the pump sometimes needs to get turned on and off a few times before it unfreezes. Yea, that gave me a lot of confidence in this product. So I hooked it up to a kitchen outlet and low and behold it worked for a few seconds. I then took it outside and tried it again and it would only work intermittently. The representative wanted me to send it in for service but I said no way I'll just return it to the store where I got it to get a refund. I don't think I'll ever buy anything with the Sistema brand because of this experience. When you are dealing with electricity and water you don't want to mess around with poorly designed products. The built-in GFI in the power cord didn't seem to work very well since this thing kept tripping my breaker in the basement.

Comment: UPS lost the order yet Amazon hasn't refunded the money to my gift certificate balance, the order was placed 7-18. According to Amazon's website I was credited on July 25th however it was not actually credited. After three calls to them I just get the run around. Amazon's customer service has been HORRIBLE as of late. Every time I call they tell me to wait 2-3 more days, I want my money!

Comment: The assembly of the unit was hard due to cheap molded parts.
The handle was hard to install and the wheels kept falling off.
Finally I used the machine without the wheels.
The pressure washer itself does a nice job, if only all the parts would stay together.

Comment: Unit arrived with no marks on packaging but the unit inside had a broken case in three places. After a call to warrantee service I as issued a return authorization and the unit was repaired and returned.

Comment: This is a nice machine. I don't usually buy things without kicking the tires so to speak but a buddy of mine brought one and really liked it so I thought okay, I'll try it out. I got this small cabin on a lake and I needed to get it ready for the winter. The wood siding has not been cleaned in years. Boy, it did a heck of a job. The place almost looks like new. I cleaned off my boat and several outdoor chairs. I even brought outside some old indoor chairs and washed them off. The brush was good for some cleaning of the big outdoor cement grill I got. I called there customer service to find out what detergent to use. Nice friendly people. I like the unit. Man, my buddies are gong to be impressed on how clean the place looks. I am going to use it on the deck back at the house next week. Great buy!!!
