Summary: very solid cordless tool 2008-10-07
Comment: Pros:
I've owned and operated this item for about 1 month now, doing light trimming around my yard.
Solidly designed and put together. Does not feel cheap.
Lightweight and very adjustable so it is comfortable to operate.
Easy to assemble, takes about 5 minutes max of initial assembly to be ready to go.
Cons:
Battery only seems to last about 20 - 25 minutes per charge. It would
be nice if it was longer.

Comment: Well made but it only has a single line, so is best for just cutting grass "quietly". Battery life is not up to 60' of 8" grass/weeds along a lake, only did ~35", which was a lot, before the battery went on the first charge.

Comment: I am thinking of buying his product. I have couple of questions regarding parts and line diameter. I am wondering where to get replacement parts if needed. I don't see this item available in any B&M store in my city Austin,TX. Secondly, the line trimmer size is 0.06in which i found from homedepot that it is almost obsolete. The available ones are 0.08 and 0.09. Is there anyway i can replace the head to accommodate a different size line?

Summary: Just Buy It - Great Trimmer ! 2008-07-12
Comment: The battery lasts forever.
Its a solid feel and metal shaft.
Very light weight.
Charger has LED indicator and turns off when fully charged.
With this battery you only need one, not TWO.
Just because there are so few reviews here, don't pay any attention to that. I'm a mechanical engineer and major DIY with high quality homeowner products: Makita power tools, Dewalt, etc. Trust me. I've also owned BD products and several were garbage.
HOWEVER, This my friends is a good product. (I also recently bought the Remington Hedge trimmer. Corded. Also excellent product. Cuts 3/4" branches. A little heavy but cuts bushes like hot knife thru butter.)
These Reminton products have been a pleasant surprise. Just DEW it !
