Summary: Nice tool, extremely well made and useful 2006-06-24
Comment: I have had this tool for 3 years and it looks like it did the day I purchased it.
It is very useful for extending your reach when you can't easily walk into an area. The tool does cut the roots of a medium sized weed with one pass. I do not like to weed and my weeds frequently get a couple of weeks of growth before I go after them. This tool makes removing them easy.
This tool, like all of the tools Smith and Hawken's sells, is a quality product. It cleans up easily and is made to last a lifetime.
I highly recommend this product to any gardener.
