Summary: Good all-purpose chairs 2008-03-18
Comment: We have two of these chairs in a pediatric office and they are great. Not only do they stand up to constant, daily use, lots of people mention that they are very comfortable. They were not difficult to put together and ae quite sturdy.

Summary: Wow -- What A Chair! 2007-07-22
Comment: These chairs rock! I bought two after a faux-teak folding chair almost killed one of my guests at my last cookout. These chairs are super-sturdy, they look terrific and they only took about 10 minutes each to put together. They come with all hardware and tools. I'll probably toss my other "teak" chair before it endangers another unsuspecting victim and buy a couple more of these side chairs. They're totally awesome!

Summary: Value outweighs design issues 2007-03-28
Comment: Well, I own two of the arm chairs. I have to disagree with the last reviewer regarding design and quality, particularly given the price. I use these to supplement some outdoor teak sofas. When on sale, these cost a tenth of the price of comparable teak chairs. I live in the northeast US and left these chairs out all winter, through snow & rain and temperature fluctuations. They did better than the teak. Actually, I had hoped that they would be a fully grey patina by summer, but they retained the stain. As to comfort and proportion, my spouse is 6'3" and 200 lbs. He fits very comfortably in these chairs. Judge for yourself, as well as the number of positive reviews, but do not be swayed solely by the last reviewer's comments. I have only had these one season, so I cannot comment yet on the longevity vs. teak.

Summary: High quality at such a low price 2006-12-31
Comment: This is an excellent chair - very heavy weight, rock solid, feels like it will last a long time. Assembly is a bit of an adventure due to the poor directions but once you get past that you've got a chair to last years.

Summary: Great Outdoor Furniture for a Great Price 2006-08-16
Comment: The 8 side chairs (and table bought separately) arrived promptly and in perfect condition - each individually packed and shipped. They were very easy to assemble (no tools required) and are very well engineered. They are incredibly solid and pretty heavy. Definitely a very good buy.
