Customer Rating: 5 Star
Summary: Good Value 2008-07-10
Comment: This gazebo has several selling points: It is approximately 8'x8' area unlike others at 10'x10', so it fits a smaller space on my deck, and the 4th leg doesn't land in the pool! Easy installation, but watch the orientation of the L-shaped legs before you bolt them together. If you don't pay attention, they can be backwards and top roof rails won't mount correctly, causing some or all of the legs to be dismantled and reassembled (I got three backwards as luck would have it, and the instructions don't warn of this). It's been on my deck for almost a month and we love it because it provides shade over our round table and 4 chairs with no need for an umbrella. As another buyer stated, tie some ropes under the canopy from center of each side to high point at center of canopy to improve drainage from rain through the eyelets at the bottom (otherwise water tends to pool along bottom edge of canopy). Also, if placing on deck be sure to screw the legs down through the holes provided so it doesn't blow away in wind. I've had some thunderstorms with high wind, and the vent at the top of the canopy lets the pressure out so no damage what-so-ever (look at similar gazebos, and many do not have the vent). This product exceeded my expectations. The family loves it.

Summary: Great gazebo...a little tough to assemble 2008-06-22
Comment: My back patio gets no shade at all, and I like spending time outdoors. I started looking at gazebos and settled on this one because of the price and because I have had such good luck with my Amazon purchases. The final result is an attractive gazebo that seems to hold up well and offers me plenty of shade. I took off one star because I found the instructions to be very limited and assembly to be difficult. I am a small woman and put it together myself. I think that if I had asked a friend for help it would have gone more smoothly. Overall, if you are handy and have a willing partner, you should not have any trouble putting it together. And if you are looking for an attractive shade, this gazebo should more than meet your needs.

Summary: the tent 2008-04-01
Comment: the tent is very nice & sturdy. it stood up to the wind & rain well.
but not the snow. The top carved in under the weight of a snow fall last month.
this is actually my 2nd tent to replace the one that broke.
i recomend to take the top off in the fall.

Summary: 1 Year and Still Beautiful! 2008-03-04
Comment: This gazebo is pretty easy to put together. If your are even slightly handy, you won't need the directions. Assembly took less than an hour by myself (although I recomend a friend to hold things in place). It is beautiful and well-made. I have had it for one year and it still looks perfect. I removed the top for the winter because I was afraid of snow damage due to the weight.

Fully assembled, this gazebo has withstood plenty of severe storms and has no damage, even in its exposed second floor deck location. You MUST securely anchor it to the surface. I have had no problems with water accumulating on the top. Here is why: Tightly tie a rope (nylon will hold up better than cotton) from the center of each side to the top. The metal supports make an "X" pattern across the top. Your rope will make a "+" pattern. This will keep water from accumulating and will prevent damage to the structure.

Summary: Bought this to enclose a hot tub... 2008-01-14
Comment: We bought this to enclose a hot tub on our deck. It looks very nice and works well for this purpose. It arrived with many missing parts but Amazon shipped us a replacement immediately and we have no complaints!
