Comment: I don't know if I'm supposed to sharpen it before use, but there is NO edge on it at all - it didn't cut ANYTHING! The description said it was sharp on both sides, but it's a soft edge...? Didn't work at all.

Comment: This Hoe is something I remember from being a child. I remember it after being reminded of it in - Four-Season Harvest: Organic Vegetables from Your Home Garden All Year Long by Eliot Coleman. He recommends it, as do I. Just scrape the top 1/2" of soil - it cuts the roots from the weeds and in some of the gardens weeds have not returned for 3 weeks. It is an incredable time saver for those places that do not have cover or matting.
