Summary: Doesn't work! 2008-09-01
Comment: I am a complete freak about trying to keep mice out of my home, but unfortunately we do occasionally get mice. My mom bought these for me as a Christmas gift & they do not seem to work at all. We still get mice & droppings can often be found right in front of the rodent repellers. I would keep looking if you're serious about keeping mice out of your home.

Summary: the greatest mouse trap------------ 2008-05-14
Comment: i have never had luck w./ any different kind of mouse trap i've ever bought but these things r amazing i have a small 3 room apartment i put one in the front of the house nand one in the back of the house it 's something you plug in that makes this noise that we can't hear but only mice and rodents like squirels and such can hear that drives them crazy and they don't come anywhere near it. since i've had these things plugged in i haven't seen not one single mouse but i took it out the plugs one day while cleaning my walls and forget to put them back in that night when i went to bed i woke to the sound of a mouse i plugged them back in and that was the end of the mouse it was gone so i lived them plugged in and hear no mouses.

Summary: Works great with multiple units in large studio 2008-02-11
Comment: We had a nightmare of a mouse problem that sprung up seemingly overnite. We tried all kinds of traps and the mice could not be tricked. We finally decided to try these things, although I thought they seemed like a total crock. Well, we placed 4 of them throughout our 700 square foot studio apartment and that night we heard some intense chewing - we had just filled all of the holes in our walls and so I assume it was a mouse trying to chew its way out - and ever since that night we have had no more mouse problems. It's been months now and we haven't seen a single sign of a mouse. Amazing.

Summary: i THINK it's working... 2007-11-11
Comment: it seemed to be working fantastically for the first 3 weeks. it does emit a faint buzzing sound, which i have obviously become immune to now. i wasn't seeing any more droppings or mice running around. then one day, i started to see droppings again...it lasted for a few days, so i decided to change out the device to one that i haven't used yet (i was only using 2 of the 3) and that seemed to be doing the trick...strange, since the package insert insists that they last for a long time. not exactly sure what happened on that.
i DID notice however that they seemed to just find other places to scurry around (where there were no devices-like inside my kitchen sink cabinet and bathroom sink cabinet--but i remedied that by just blocking out any more openings for them to come in).
one very very strange thing happened....i found a dead mouse in my living room...any connection to the sonic pestchaser??? i have no idea...(but EW!!) but overall, i do believe it is working nicely since i've installed them, i am pretty happy about the purchase...but not that happy to buy it online because they sell it down the street from me for the same price... :(
