This teabag contains barley. Yes, you hear it right, barley! It was a staple cereal of ancient Egypt, used to make bread and beer. Now in modern day Japan, it is used to create this exotic flavored tea, with a spicy nutty aroma and a smooth taste. The triangular shape of this teabag allows the tea inside the bag to expand to maximize flavor.
Directions for the perfect cup of tea: Pour hot water (90C-95C)in a cup(6oz) and put a teabag in it. Steep for a half minute. Move the teabag up and down slowly for 5 to 6 times for the perfect infusion. Then remove the teabag. If you steep over a minute, the taste will get bitter.
