Customer Rating: Summary: Clear Jel 2007-11-07 Comment: I have been baking with Clear Jel for about 10 years now. Corn starch breaks down when pressure canned but Clear Jel maintains consistency through high heat. I always use it in place of corn starch for pie fillings and the like.
