Product Description
"In 1832 my ancestor, the Second Earl Grey, gave his name to the now famous style of tea flavoured with bergamot citrus fruit. Similarly I have been proud to lend my name to the Earl Grey's Biscuits range and I am delighted to invite you to try my exciting new range of English Butter Biscuits, which are handbaked to traditional English recipes with only natural ingredients. I hope you enjoy them". Each biscuit is stamped with the Earl Grey's crest and signature. Eight delicious varieties of drums are available. Summary: Great Cookies! 2007-02-06
Comment: These are wonderful gingerbread men from Great Britain -- biscuits, not anything like American cookies. They are here for the Christmas holiday, and otherwise hard to find. They come with the current Earl Grey's signature and his promise of excellence, and he comes through on his promise. And yes, he is the descendant of that Earl Grey for whom the fragrant tea is named for. One can only hope that he will continue to give his name to more biscuits -- the Lemon Ladies and Shortbread Soldiers, just as wonderful, could use more good company!
