Summary: Great Way to Get Fiber 2008-12-01
Comment: I wouldn't call these health food, what with the hydrogenated oil and all, but if your goal is to increase your daily fiber intake than these bars are an easy and delicious way to accomplish your goal.

Summary: Good Tasting Oats Bars 2008-11-18
Comment: Most health bars taste awful. Fiber One Bars Oats & Chocolate is not bad at all. A little chewy, but it does not crumble when you bite it while other snack bars shatters to hundreds of pieces of crumbs. This one you can enjoy even if you are in front of your computer keyboard.
I like the Fiber One Granola Bars Oats & Caramel better as the chocolate tends to be a little bit too sweet. Also kinda small for my satisfaction.

Summary: Good taste, texture, nutrition 2008-10-23
Comment: One of the better bars I've found in terms of price, taste, texture, and nutrition. I've been eating them as "emergency snacks" as my pregancy progresses, and they do a good job. I really like that I'm getting a good portion of my daily fiber requirement (extra important for expectant mothers) in one serving: this is hard to do with highly processed "bar" type foods. And I like the fact it tastes like an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie rather than a sawdust or twig-textured health food.
I noticed one customer said they made her sick: if you're not used to getting much fiber in your diet, jumping straight to your recommended daily allowance without a careful ramp up is quite likely to cause gastro-intestional distress. Be careful!

Summary: Not worth it! 2008-09-26
Comment: They taste great, BUT one bar gave me VERY bad stomach pains and diarhrea for several days. Unfortunately I didn't realize it was the bar for a week. I just thought I was sick. Do a google search and you'll find dozens of people with similar reactions.

Summary: Great! 2008-09-22
Comment: These make a great mid-day snack when combined with a piece of fruit. Not the best in terms of eliminating preservatives from your diet, but delicious. The only thing I would change is that they come in two packs - which means a lot of extra cardboard.
