Summary: Knock your socks off 2007-12-27
Comment: Even if you think you know Italian dry mushrooms -- order these and find out how wrong you were. Unbelievably beautiful, deeply fragrant, terrific huge intact slices. Flip all the cards over: these completely redefine the category. Not just for sauces: soak a few to garnish your steak. Make a knockout appetizer with these porcini, some stock and a shot of marsala. To top it all: the price is reasonable. Bravo!
