Our dense dark rye bread is made from scratch with our own home made sourdough starter. To get the seeds soft we soak them in water for one day before we mix them into the dough. Its a healthy and filling alternative to lighter breads.

Summary: Closest thing to True Danish Dark Bread 2006-07-06
Comment: I have sampled some of the best Dark pumpernickel breads in the world. I live in Hawaii and have had a hard time finding a bakery that produces a delicious seeded dark bread here other than one coming from my own kitchen. I decided to try this one and was extemely pleased with the quality and flavor. The small loaves are sliced thin. They were shipped quickly to Hawaii which was my biggest concern to insure freshness.I only wish the shipping wasn't so expensive but then I can't have everything when I live in paradise.
