Raspberry Mazzerine Tart

This is a truly hand crafted dessert, baked in a shortbread crust and filled with lots of smooth Mazzerine filling made with pure almond paste. Before we bake the tart the second time we hand pipe a swirl of almond paste and raspberry jam on top.

Comment: This tart was fabulous. It arrived at our house in great shape and was well worth the price! Larson's does a great job with its' bakery items. We love the almond selections.

Summary: Raspberry Mazarine Tart 2006-09-27
Comment: The size of the tart is very miss leading it is very small, it arrived at my home after 5 days (not the expedited shipping that I paid for) a mangled mess. The seller did not use adequate materials to insulate. The raspberry mixture was extremely thick and glutonous. I could not in good conscience bring myself to taste it. This was a very expensive lesson--that I should not order pastries long distance.
