Product Description
Freshness, youth and tenderness are the most noticeable features of this mountain cheese of the French Alps region of "Savoie". It is a well-propertioned cheese with a thin, orange-yellow to pink, tight, velvety rind. Its fresh, clear aroma comes from the mold, and has a moist, smooth and supple, fatty texture. The flavor opens in the mouth, leaving a delicately nutty aftertaste. Affinage usually takes three to four weeks. Pairs well with a "Pommard" red wine.
