Roland Escargots (snails) are packed without shells, 72 snails per can, extra large, of uniform size. They are carefully cleaned, well cooked and tender with a grayish color. Packed in France. Roland Snails may be served in shells, plates, or in mushroom caps. Rinse the snails in cold water or soak or simmer in wine to enhance flavor.

Summary: Wonderful fresh flavor 2008-08-05
Comment: If you love snails as I do, but can not longer procure fresh ones, then this is the product for you. I like the fact that they are packed without shells as I purchase my own empties for such purposes. These little delights have a fresh flavor, and with a bit of butter and garlic, goodness, you're in heaven. Recommend these over all other brands I have tried.
