Comment: excellent. tastes just like salt. take my advice and get some. you will love it, but buy it at the grocery store. i buy mine for 2.19--same stuff, same 3 ounces. right next to the salt and spices.

Comment: The salt substitute was excellent, but 10 dollars to ship 6 ounces??? Find out what the shipping cost will be before you place your order.

Summary: Love it (hi cholestrol person) 2007-02-20
Comment: I use this stuff religiously, and find it works great as a salt substitute. I'm a little surprised the previous reviewer found it so lacking -- I've been using it for years. It does taste slightly** different from salt, but after 5 minutes you don't notice it at all. And yes it has a slightly acrid taste, but SO do salt! Chloride is chloride - don't expect sweetness. If you have any problems with salt or hi blood pressure, try this. Works well, seasons well, and does well in recipes.

Summary: Ugh 2006-12-19
Comment: Pros: Contains zero sodium, and very high amounts of potassium, which your body needs.
Cons: Tastes nothing like salt, and has a very acrid taste that is quite noticeable.
