Summary: Great taste but pricey 2008-07-18
Comment: Yes, this tuna is much better than mass-marketed store brands. That said: I have Wegmans and Whole Foods supermarkets in my area which sell premium gourmet tuna. In a heads-up dollar-for-dollar comparison with other premium brands, this tuna come up short. Don't get me wrong, this is excellent tuna but there are less expensive alternatives for about half the price that are just as good.
