Summary: Wow, gotta try Uncle Eddie's Vegan Oatmeal Raisin Cookies! 2007-01-03
Comment: I have food sensitivities to eggs, yeast, dairy, so you can imagine I don't get many baked goods anymore! But these cookies are perfect for me! I've tried many different 'good for you' brands (bleh) and had just about given up when I found these. It was a pleasant surprise to find a chewy oatmeal raisin cookie that actually tasted good! How'd they do that? :-) I really like the coconut in them and it's also in the oatmeal choc chip--I imagine it helps to keep them moist too. Kudos to this cookie company!

Summary: Awesome Cookies! 2006-08-29
Comment: These are the best cookies ever! BUT, the prices from Amazon are just ridiculous! $24.00 (4 bags) that's $6.00 a bag (don't forget shipping cost). That's a very nice profit margin for Amazon. I was thinking about getting some since they do have a wide assortment. However, I'm not willing to pay $6.00 a bag when I'm only paying $4.49 per bag at the supermarket. Do yourself a favor and head over to Whole Foods. Don't get me wrong, they are worth the price at any cost. Just giving you options.

Summary: My favorite 2006-08-16
Comment: These are my favorite of all the Uncle Eddie's variations and indeed of all cookies period. It may be the coconut that gives it that extra special flavor. I also like the soft, chewy consistency. Eddie's other cookies are good, but these are the best.

Summary: A Big Fan of Oatmeal Raisin 2006-07-24
Comment: I used to eat these delicious cookies when I lived in Santa Monica, CA. There are many vegan oatmeal cookies on the market, but this one's my favorite, since I like my cookies on the slightly chewy side. The trick is to put the bags in the freezer if you have them shipped to you from the West Coast. They stay fresher longer and you can reheat them. Not that it's a big deal but I have found that the cookies are just slightly drier than when bought off the shelf at the health food store, but that's the price you pay if you're not living in L.A.! The Oatmeal Raisin flavored cookie is my favorite-- Chocolate Chip Oatmeal is good too, but not as sweet.
