Comment: My son would sometimes suddenly develop runny nose, sneezing, congestion, and very red, swollen, watery eyes. His eyes hurt, because they get so swollen.

Just this past week, it happened again. While waiting for the antihistamine to kick in, he was in agony, so I put in one drop of Naphcon A in each eye. Ahhhh. Immediate relief.

This isn't something we can use for more than a few days, because it causes a rebound redness. It also can't be used in patients with certain types of glaucoma. Other medical conditions and medications may be a problem (e.g., don't take if you're on MAO inhibitors); so double check with a health professional, if you have concerns.

Comment: These drops were very refreshing and soothing for my dry, itchy eyes. This is a good product for allergy sufferers who need over-the-counter treatments, but don't want to take something that causes drowsiness. It relieves my itchy, red eyes without the use of antihistamines.

Comment: I suffer from major allergies, so I really wanted to see what this product could do. The first time I used it, my eyes burned a little -- I think it may've been that I was out in the car and my eyes were already bothering me -- but after using it for a few days, I did see an improvement in the amount of burning and itching. I'd recommend these drops, even though I hate putting things in my eyes. I'd tried Visine years ago, and it did really nothing for me. But this, I'll use.
